3M HELLAS DISCUSSION PANEL – MARCH 2020
Danae Bezantakou participated in the discussion panel with title ” Women in Science & Women in Shipping: Challenges & Opportunities”,organized by the Company 3M Hellas, on 12th March 2020.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, 3M organized for its employees a discussion panel inviting successful women of the business world from the field of Shipping, aiming at strengthening its corporate culture and promotion the multilateral role of the professional woman in Modern society.
Apart from Danae, another speaker was Ms. Aphrodite Dellaporta, Legal Advisor, Nomikos Transworld Maritime Agencies S.A.
They presented their own course and how they approach the various aspects of their everyday and career life, trying to maintain a balance between work and private life.
More specifically, in the context of the panel discussion, the topics discussed were both the work environment in the field of Shipping, the challenges they face and the opportunities given to women in a perhaps “male-dominated” field, as per many people’s perception.
This action was a special action aimed at highlighting the importance of women in healthy corporate environments that promote equal opportunities for all.
