Kostis N. Achladitis, Managing Director – Golden Cargo
Kostis N. Achladitis has a working experience of
more than 40 years in the Maritime industry. He has
been working in Golden Union Shipping Group since
1977.
In 1984, Mr Achladitis was appointed as Purchasing Manager, while in 1989 he was appointed to
set up and develop Golden Cargo as Managing Director.
In January 2018, Mr Achladitis was elected as 2nd Vice President at Piraeus Chamber of
Commerce & Industry (responsible for Shipping and Logistics). He is also an active Propeller Club
member, Chios Marine Club board member and Mentor for MSc in shipping management at the
University of Piraeus.
Born and raised in Vrontados – Chios, he graduated from the City of London Polytechnic (London
University) and holds a BSc in Maritime Economics and a MSc in Logistics
