7th MARITIME CONFERENCE OF NAFTEMPORIKI
Danae Bezantakou attended the 7th Maritime Conference of “Naftemporiki” entitled “The big dilemmas”, held on 14th of June 2023. The conference, which gathered over 600 delegates, was held at the Stone Warehouse of the Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) and saw the participation of high-level representatives from the governmental, maritime, and academic communities. Decarbonization and digitalization of shipping, sustainable development, and the enhancement of maritime education were at the heart of the dialogue among key shipping industry executives.
In her opening speech, Melina Travlos, the President of the Union of Greek Shipowners, declared that Greek shipping seeks sustainable solutions, focusing on respect for humanity, the environment, and the international community.
