U.S STATE DEPARTMENT – ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT INNOVATION FUND – JANUARY 2019
Danae participated as a co-organizer in the winning program “Code on the Road” Migrant Women’s Empowerment Launch event. The project “Business and Software Training for Women and Girls ” was one of the 70 projects selected and funded by the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) of the U.S.Department of State and the U.S. Embassy Athens, among 1500 applications. The project aims to train girls and women in Athens and Amman, including 50 migrants. The project will utilize an innovative mobile learning course on business entrepreneurship and software development to help the participants successfully launch businesses. The event took place on Tuesday 22nd January 2019 at the center for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence at Al-Hussein Technical University at Amman.
