Costas Kalargyros

Group HR Director LATSCO SHIPPING LTD.

Costas Kalargyros has been the Group HR Director in Latsco Shipping Ltd since May 2017. He is responsible for Human Resources Management and Internal Communications in the 3 offices, Athens – London – Monaco, where Latsco operates. Costas has 23 years experience in the fileds of HR, Corporate Responsibility and Internal Communications. He began his career in 1995 in a shipping company but soon, in 1996 je joined AB Vassilopoulos, where he grew up professionally living the experience of the organization’s transformation from a family owned company to a multinational one. In 2011, he moved to the mother company AholdDelhaize Group, during which time, he served in regional and global HR & Sustainability positions. During his career, he had the opportunity to participate in numerous of global projects including the integration of acquired companies and mergers of big multinational companies as well as leading global Associates Wellbeing & Diversity Committees that aimed at strengthening associates engagement and respect for the diversity of people. He was born in Montreal but grew up in Chios. He studied statistics in University of Piraeus and HR Management in University of Edinburgh.
