Irina Taka-Michaelides
General Counsel, Capital Maritime &Trading Corp. / Capital Product Partners L.P.

Ms. Taka is general counsel for US-listed shipping company Capital Product Partners L.P. (Nasdaq: CPLP) which forms part of the Capital Maritime & Trading Corp. group in Piraeus, Greece. She began her career at the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, before continuing as a corporate law associate for Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and London.

Irina received a dual BA in International Relations and Art History from Stanford University in California (1999) and a JD cum laude from the New York University School of Law (2003). In addition to being a member of the NY Bar Ms. Taka is a UK solicitor and serves as a Trustee for Anatolia High School and College in Thessaloniki amongst others.
