John Couyou
Deputy CSOM – ISM / ISPS / MLC of Bureau Veritas

John Couyou is a Naval Architect, graduate of Sunderland Polytechnic. He started his career being an apprentice with LIPS-NAFSI and a trainee with Hellenic Shipyards. He was first employed by Harland and Wolff at Belfast. Since then he has worked at Neorion Shipyards, NAFSI and Ventouris Ferries. Since 1996 he is employed by Bureau Veritas as a Marine Management Systems Auditor and Senior Surveyor. He is currently a Bureau Veritas trainer, an MLC Inspector and Deputy Crew & System Operational Manager.
