Kalliope C. Lyrintzis

Mrs. Lyrintzis is a Marine Engineer and Naval Architect, holder of a BSc. and MSc from the University of Michigan, USA. Before founding Christou Associates in 1992, she worked successfully in shipbuilding and shipping finance ventures. For the past thirty five years, she has successfully directed and spearheaded her Group of Companies to achieve recognition in providing best in class marine technical, management systems consulting and maritime training services to the Greek shipping community. In 1996, she founded QMS Maritime Training Center, an instituation which has achieved numerous distinctions and collaborations with international shipping constituencies. A distinguished member in numerous professional shipping associations, she is a Chartered Engineer and registered as a European Engineer by the European Federation of National Engineering Association, and was nominated as Personality of the Year for the Lloyds List Greek Shipping Awards in 2004.
