Vassilis Triantafyllos, Lawyer – Energy Policy Expert
Vassilis is a Lawyer and Energy Policy Consultant.
As a Lawyer of 20 years PQE he has held the position of Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at IPTO S.A. and of legal counsel at LAGHE S.A. (now DAPEEP S.A.). He co-founded Law Office “ENNOMOS Legal Services” in 2007, where he still advises of counsel on matters of International Business Law and Energy Law. He has taught International Business Law and New Technologies Law at the Postgraduate Program “LLM in International Business” co-organized by Cardiff Metropolitan University and City Unity College in Greece.
As an Energy Policy Consultant, he has participated and led Projects on Renewables, Energy Markets and the Energy Transition for the European Commission (DG DEVCO, DG NEAR), the EBRD and the UNECE, among other developmental donors and IFIs. His area of expertise covers Eastern and Southeastern Europe, MENA, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
He has also advised on energy strategy and policy at the Ministry of Environment and Energy of the Hellenic Republic.
