We are delighted to share the remarkable success of the “Green Technologies and Digitization in the Shipping Industry Greece and Germany” conference, co-organized in partnership with the German Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, that took place on the 10th of October 2023 with the participation of 12 German Shipping Companies. Danae Bezantakou successfully moderated the panel discussion titled “Modern Technologies in the Shipping Industry | Digital Solutions for Green Shipping”. The event surpassed expectations, culminating in highly productive B2B meetings between 80 Greek Shipping Companies and the German Companies of the mission.

The following day was exclusively dedicated to our esteemed German counterparts, commencing with an enlightening tour of ELEFSIS SHIPYARDS courtesy of ONEX. This was followed by a warm reception from Mr. Apostolos Kamarinakis, the Managing Director of Elefsis Port Authority SA, which set the stage for an eye-opening voyage through the Elefsis Gulf and Port via sea taxi.

Concluding the event, on 12/10/2023, a networking brunch was held at the Piraeus Marine Club hosting representatives from diverse Greek shipping organizations and the German Companies for enriching discussions.

The conference not only played a pivotal role in sharing knowledge and fostering industry discussions but also markedly strengthened our company’s standing and connections in the maritime sector. As we contemplate the success of this collaborative endeavor for the 3rd year, we are assured that it has laid the groundwork for upcoming collaborations, progress, and a future in the shipping industry that is both greener and more digitally integrated.
