22ND NAVIGATOR FORUM 2023

22ND NAVIGATOR 2023 – THE SHIPPING DECISION MAKERS FORUM consists of 3 closed events (March, May, October) for Forum’s sponsors and distinguished invitees/speakers from Greek and Foreign Shipping Companies, International Shipping Organizations & Embassies and the 22ND NAVIGATOR 2023 – THE SHIPPING DECISION MAKERS FORUM that will take place on Thursday, 9th of November 2023, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC), 09.30-14.00, where the main points discussed in the closed events will be presented.

The First Exclusive Roundtable Event was successfully completed on Tuesday 21st of March 2023, at Grand Hyatt Athens, under the theme #BeTheChange. A total of two hundred (200) distinguished executives from across the entire spectrum of the shipping arena took part in the closed roundtable event, where they met and discussed key issues that concern and affect both the industry and our society.

The Second Brainstorming Session, was also completed with great success on Thursday 25th of May 2023, at TATOI Club, under the theme #SeaTheChange. A total of 80 distinguished participants, from 40 companies, consisted only of representatives of our sponsors who participated in the closed discussions held on 21st of March 2023 and guests from shipowners/managing Companies, met to discuss about Decarbonisation, the Intersection of Human Performance-Technology and Training, Digitalization and ESG.

The Third Closed Event took place under the theme #MasterTheChange on October 2023, with the participation of 3 Think Tanks, DiaNEOsis, ELIAMEP and IOBE.

NAVIGATE THE CHANGE

The 22nd Navigator 2023 – The Shipping Decision Makers Forum under the theme #NavigateTheChange will take place on Thursday, 9^th of November 2023, in Athens at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC), 09.30-14.00.

This year’s forum will be consisted by the following 3 panels:

1. Mastering the Tides of Change: Navigating Through Experiments and Dilemmas: which will be moderated by Edwin Lampert, Executive Editor / Head of Business Relations – Riviera Maritime Media

2. Navigating Sustainable Seas: the Global Perspective: which will be moderated by Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou, CEO – Tototheo Maritime, Immediate Past President – WISTA International, President at Electricity Authority of Cyprus

3. Current trends and SEAsing opportunities: which will be moderated by Dorothea Ioannou, CEO – THE AMERICAN P &I CLUB

The mission of this year’s organization is to envision the “shipping industry of the next 20 years”. We are attending numerus of Forums and events discussing relevant issues. What we aspire to achieve within this Forum is to take into consideration that the next few years will be full of experiments & dilemmas…

3rd of October, Piraeus Marine Club

The third closed discussion held by NAVIGATOR SHIPPING CONSULTANTS, in the framework of the 22nd NAVIGATOR 2023 – THE SHIPPING DECISION MAKERS FORUM, “Master the Change,” was successfully organized on the 3^rd of October 2023, at the Piraeus Marine Club, with the participation of the three Greek Think Tanks. Directors of the think tanks DIANEOSIS, ELIAMEP & IOBE added a valuable opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and ideas on issues that concern the global affairs and by extension are inextricably linked to shipping, such as the green transition, geopolitical events, the evolution of the views and value system of Greeks after multiple crises. A total of 100 participants, including Presidents or representatives of Shipping Organizations, along with executives from the maritime community and event sponsors attended this event.
